Power Adapter Options for Canon M50 [2024] | Unlimited Battery Power with Battery Bank
Last Updated: 09-21-2024
Live Streaming on your Canon M50 Mark 1 requires a lot of battery life and power, more than what the battery can provide.
In this video, I share some power adapter options for both the wall (AC power adapter) as well as a USB power adapter so you can use a battery bank with your Canon M50 Mark 1.
Note: The Canon M50 Mark 1 doesn't charge any battery internally but the USB power adapter will let you connect a power bank and run power to the camera as if the USB battery power bank is the battery. The Kapaxen AC Power Adapter is no longer available for purchase.
Recommended Power Adapter Options:

Update: Canon has finally released their own creator bundle for the Canon M50 Power Adapter options.
Raeisusp Power Adapter (Purchase Here)
Sometimes 3rd party tools never get an update outside of seeing the initial recommendation when someone reviews it, that's typical.
However, even after all these years, as of 2024, if I had a Canon M50 Mark 1 camera and needed a power options, the Raeisusp option and Kapaxen option are still in toolkit that I would trust to use.
This doesn't take away my original recommendation to always go with the manufacturer branded options whenever available. If they're not available, these 3rd party options I've used for years are ones I've tested personally and have had a good experience with.
Use your best personal judgement when selected third party options and go with what you trust and would feel most comfortable using.
I always recommend going with a brand that has some legs to it.
The reason most ac power options look the same is because they're all white label products. You or I could slap a name on it and post it on Amazon and sell it. However, what they don't have is a true quality control system or customer service.
Brands like SmallRig, Ulanzi, Falcam are reliable 3rd parry brands for example that do have such measures in place.
Don't go with the cheapest option that "looks the same" on Amazon, go with a brand you trust.
Remember, when you buy too cheaply, you also buy the problems that come with being cheap.
